Sala Bly specializes in lead products and is one of the leading suppliers in the world. We offer a wide range of lead products that we have developed and manufactured based on our 130 years of industrial experience. In addition to our large number of standard products, we can also manufacture custom-made products according to customer requests and specifications.
Sala Bly and Sustainability
In 2021, Sala Bly made the decision to gradually transition the operation towards a more sustainable process. Since then, production has been carried out with fossil-free energy wherever possible. We have thus shifted from heating and melting with fossil fuel oil, to using hot air pumps for heating and RME (rapeseed methyl ester) for melting. Our transportation is now carried out with hybrid vehicles instead of the previous fossil-fuel-powered vehicles.
All the lead used in Sala Bly’s products is recycled and primarily comes from used car batteries.
